Love your library? Help save it! Be heard & make a difference.

On Friday, Governor Ted Strickland announced that in order to help balance Ohio’s budget, he plans to cut $200 million from Ohio library funding over the next 2 years. What does this mean?

Starting July 1, if the cuts are approved, the Columbus Metropolitan library
may have to cut hours and close branches.

How can you help? If the library means a lot to you…if you depend on the books, the people, the homework help, or just the place to be…let your voice be heard! Time is short—we have only days to make a difference.

Find out ways you can help save our libraries.

Tell your parents, your friends, your neighbors…and encourage them to do the same.
