My Experice at the library has been great! They have a lot of great help that can help you with anything. One thing that has changed in the library was they got a new teens area where teens can go and read! They also have a great wide selection of books so you can have a big reading selection. I would say that the library is an awesome place to be!
Well I like the new library. I also like that we have computers now at the volunteen desk =)

I have had a great time going to the libary they have everything that i need and i can always go some where that is very quiet and not to stuffy in there and its always the right temperture for the seasons and the staff is nice to everyone and understands everything that you ask.. i would say they have been taught well.
People might think the library is boring but it isn't! There are so many things to do there that dont make it boring. You can go on the computer, look for books or movies, or study. So my experience at the library has been good and everyone should come and see what it has to offer you!

wow. i loved being a volunteen last year! it's such a rewarding thing, knowing that i help motivate kids to read!

Hey everyone! Although I have never been a library intern, I've heard from my friends (who WERE interns) that it was a LOT of fun! They said that it was really fun to work at the library, and that the party at the end was mega awesome! They also said that working there taught them a LOT about hard work, responsibility, and the pressure of having to deal with "big people" lol. I have seen many people have tremendous fun on the job. I orihinally wanted to intern, but the positions were full this year AND last year. Uggh! Maybe next year ;)
I wish to be a teen helper I whould get to have more fun so far I love the library great books I can read
I am currently a voulteen this year. It is my first year and i was scared because none of my freinds were doing it and i thought i would be a fish out of water or somethig... BUT i wasn't. I've met a lot of cool people and the whole knew coputer system is a great way to run the summer reading club! It has been a great experence so far!
it has been very funn and the libary has done nothing but show me that it is better then just to use the computer and chill with friends and i love to go and look for books that i am interested in and taking my little brother and sister is also funn to. i just like going to the libary..
I enjoy the Library a lot. It is a fun place to go to with a wide variety of books. You can always find the one you are looking for with the great service!
My experince at the libary was great! I'm a volunteen at whitehall and its pretty fun accept that you have to sit down and do nothing sometimes.
I love the library! There is a new place in the teen section where you can comfortably sit and read. I love the computers too. There is no other place to be other than the library (atleast thats what I think). :)
This is my first year working for the library but I been volunteering for 6 years.Its been fun.This past week has been okay.I learned alot and some of the stuff I already known but it refreshed my memory.I can't wait to start at the branch I'm going to be working at for the summer.

So far working at the Main Library has been so fun. It is much harder then it looks like. There is so much more to the library then what I thought. I never would have guessed i would be doing this. There is alot to do at the main library since it is so big. There is always something to do here. I am having fun though!!!!!!!!
The new library that I am working at is soo cool. I like shevling the books because cause it makes the day go faster. And now that I work at the main library and they have so many books I am going to try to get to read most of those books.

Working at the Main Library again this year has been great. Not only is the library staff supportive, they are incredibly friendly as well. Java Monster discounts are really delicious too!
I think that the library is a great place to work becasue it is not loud and it is a great place to get your work done
working at the library started off very boring but its better now and i enjoy working alone in GHT.i have not been shelving books, mostly typing and putting addresses on papers.
i wish that everyone was here last was here again because it was way more fun, the new kids dont understand that they can have fun and get the work done, they are soooooo doll dang its crazy, i felt really great when i was asked to train a new intern. i love this job lol but i think i might end up working for the library :) lol its three peolpe here from last year and i enjoy them .... i love my job!!!!!!!
My Experience working as an summer intern at thr Main library is fun, but working at the library is harder than what i thought it was before i was accepted to work here. I thought it was going to be extra boring,but there is actually exciting things to do and exciting people to meet. Everyone who works here are always happy and helpful.
the library is a wonderful place to learn an gain new knowledge daily....people think it's boring but it realli isn't..it's realli fun you meet new people and new chracters....also the many new books that come and go....
wat really surprised me workin at the main library was that the the many different job that are actually being done other than shelving...for example..book drop , shelf read, straighten and reshelving, shifting, sorting..etc...so yea dat realli shocked me

I actually work in finance at the main library. Ive been doing many tasks that have taught me how an office functions. this will be so useful in the future.

i love the library and it's books. i know that people might think that the library is boring but it is actually REALLY GREAT!!! i hope that every one can see the library someday like i do!!!
I enjoy volunteering at the library because I have easy access to books and DVD's. The library is full of welcoming and nice people that really assist me in my work.
I am loving having the Summer Interns here! I can't wait to hear more from the Branches about how your summers are going! What a great group of peeps! I look forward to seeing everyone on Friday! (Of course, I look forward to seeing all the Main Library Interns every single day!!!!!)

The week so far is going really fast. We haven't done much shelving at the main library because there haven't been that much books. I am having such a great time working at th libarary. I get to experience new things and just have some fun. I have made some new friends too. Everything has just been so great here at main. It is a great place to be......... WRITE MORE SOME OTHER TIME
This week for me has been great. I have got to pool loans and I got to sort, and shleve books. I have made some new friends in this week. But the only thing that I don't like is that I have to work from 9-2 because the soccer practice I have after work.
But other than that the library is a cool place to be.

this week and last week have been great..i love the people and the work (believe it or not). im glad im getting this opportunity to learn more about how the world really is..this week so far i have gotten hundreds of papers reasdy for scanning, i have written in dates on documents,and thats about it. but i like it. on tuesdays i come in at 9:30, and leave at 2:30, its early for me but honestly? its made alright by that fact that i am getting paid for it. that mostly and also the fact that i get so much good experience. thanks guys!

Hello everyone. This week has been pretty nice. The sorting room has been kinda empty. Lunch has been decent. Straightening and reshelving has been boring, but it has to be done I guess. I hope that everyone is having a super duper time!
I love my supervisor,Miss Hallie, I am glad that she is my first time boss, some people have crappy mean bosses. Miss Hallie is sarcastic, nice, energetic and playful, but at the sametime you will know when she is serious and she is very clear on what she want you to do, when she want you to do it and how she want it done. Everyone here at main respects her. She is a person who listens and understands her employees.
iSr@3l her3 s@ying that my week has be3n g00d and b@d. its seems like a day of high school with the drama of he say she say and the i dont like her or him just cause (no real reason)they said this and that ... the truth is we came to work and maybe make friends not click up and down one another. lol high school is so over rated lol. why cant we all just get along !!!!! wow i wake up wanna sleep just cause of the high school drama in the back of my mind yo. so right now im not feeling my job .

This week at the Hilltop Branch I had alot of fun, I assisted with the S.R.C. Programs, and the lunch program. This past week was a good week for me, I had no problems with anything.

This week so far has been alright even though I wasn't at work on Tuesday. This job is so awesome and interesting. We have had to do alot here at the Main Library. It is so big and there is so much to do.

What is the library internship program? Is this at the main library or a branch? Is this another word for voluteering? If so, then I volunteered at the library during the last two weeks of June. My experience there had been great, because I not only got to help out, but I also could check out returned unseen videos/DVDs while I was doing my work.

I've learned alot about how the library works and is still surpriesed with the level of depth that goes into working here. my mind is just blown. I thought it would be easy. I've got to know some cool people better, made some unfortunate few enemies i wasn't trying to, and met some new people that will probaly be in my life for a long time to come. No Regrets. Thank you.

I like the library but since becoming a teen I have started to not like reading as much.
A lot of my friends have Ripsticks so I have been riding those with them.
The library is awesome.

My experience at the library was great! Helping out over the summer was a fun way to learn more about the library's program. I love how there are always reccommended books to read over the summer.
