No more sleeping in!
What did you do over winter break? Did you spend lots of time with family?
Encounter any family drama at your holiday gatherings?
And be sure to tell us all about what you got. Are you sporting some great new clothes (or an ugly sweater from Grandma) at school this week? Are you trying to figure out how to hide your new cellphone/iPod/gadget from your teachers? Are you working up a sweat playing your new Wii?
Belated happy holidays to all!

I am so sad winter break is over, i think it should have been longer.Every day at school when i look at the clock i think what i would be doing(if there was still break) or what i did at that time during break. whatever i was doing during break always seemed better tha what i was doing at school. I like school, you get to see your friend and your teachers but sometimes i have too much homework. Over break i got a new skateboard and The Daring Book for Girls, which is an awsome read( if your a boy try the Dangerous book for boys). My family got a new computer from Santa;) That is part of the reason i'm typing this right now. Our old computer didn't have very good internet and lots of sites didn't load. Now i'm catching up on all the fun sites i've missed.I hope every one had a happy new year and I also hope all the library staff had a very good break!!:)

Yay for a new computer! And yes...I've heard The Daring Book for Girls is a great bok.
I spent most of break catching up with family. That, of course, means lots of traveling and lots of time sitting around. But it was somewhat relaxing, and I got a lot of the homework that school assigned done. Yes, school assigned loads of homework over break. But, then, we had a rather long break where I live, so it wasn't so bad.
Present-wise... I FINALLY got Scrabble, for which I've been waiting for year after year. Also, I was pleased to acquire my first (sort of) cell phone, so that was pretty exciting. Nevertheless, I was pleased to get back to school and see all my friends again. All-in-al, I'd say it was rather a good time. ^_^
All I got for christmas was this unnecessary consumerist market, and it didn't even live up to least years figures.
Anonymous -- wow, do you want to be an economist when you grow up? :)
I had an awesome winter break - I went to New York City and fell in love with the atmosphere and the lifestyle. I saw How the Grinch Stole Christmas, The Little Mermaid, Mary Poppins, Phantom of the Opera, and the Rockettes. I went to mass in St. Patrick's Cathedral on Christmas day. I saw the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. I ate at a restaurant in Times Square. I shopped at the largest Macy's in the world. I rode the ferris wheel that was INSIDE of the Toys R Us store in Times Square. It was completely amazing.
I went to Arizona to be with my relatives, then celebrated a late Xmas here. It was lots of fun, and pretty warm, which was a nice change.
I got a cool mp3 player, a stereo, digital camera, and a couple of video games!. But still no wii.
when winter break was over i was sad and happy at the same time because i wanted to see my friends and i would miss sitting at home relaxing but during winter break i stayed at home spent time with my family talked to friends and just enjoyed the time i had to relax and when christmas came me and my family got many new things and we had lots of fun and we saw some of our family that we dont see very often so that was the best part about it.
All I did was sleep in, babysit, watch movies, and study. But the new years party I went to was awesome!!!
